County Line's Field of Dreams backyard horse racing track rules * No previous professional track horses allowed. * No lip tattoos. (all horses will be checked) * No plow horses. (nags) * Serious contenders only * All disputed races will be decided by a race track official. (Their word is final) * All entries will have a scheduled warm up time on track. * Each race will be a gun start (1-2-Bang) * Dead start only (no running starts) * All horses must wear a western/stock saddle only. * Quirts and Spurs are allowed * No riders under 18 years of age. * All matches will have the option of a straight or oval track. * All matches are best out of 3 (winner takes the opponents horse). (IT'S A HORSE FOR HORSE RACE) * All forfeits are considered a loss. * No horse play while racing. * Un-sportsman like conduct will not be tolerated. (Leave your attitudes at home) * ABSOLUTELY NO RIDING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS * All participants must sign a waiver and a contract prior to race stating that you will surrender your horse if you loose the best out of 3 matches. * One rider and one assistant only in the horse pits. * It's a true race of a lifetime. |
